- Use ranged weapons such as crossbows, as Pirate Skeletons run in numbers and can easily overwhelm you in close combat.
- Another way to counter their number is to bring along a companion, whether a villager or a friend.
- Bring along a shield, to counter the skeleton archers, otherwise you’ll spend a lot of time dodging arrows.
Alternatively, you can also find blast powder as drops from other enemies and in chests. However, these drops are pretty rare. Therefore, taking down pirate skeletons is currently the best method to acquire Blast Powder.
