NetEase has officially revealed the balance update for Marvel Rivals Patch 0219, bringing targeted hero adjustments aimed at stabilizing Season 6 and its mid-season meta. The update arrives on February 19 at 9:00 AM UTC and will roll out without server downtime, allowing players to jump straight into matches once the patch goes live.
According to the developers, this patch focuses on a smaller set of high performing heroes who have drawn strong community feedback. The goal is to keep Season 6 consistent while ensuring players can join at any time without major disruptions to the competitive environment. The team also confirmed that more content and larger updates are planned for Season 7.
Patch 0219 primarily introduces nerfs to several strong Duelists and a key Strategist while refining their power levels rather than reshaping the entire meta. These restrained changes reflect NetEase’s approach to maintaining stability during the ongoing season.
Marvel Rivals Patch 0219
Elsa Bloodstone nerfs
Elsa Bloodstone receives one of the most significant adjustments in this update. Her ultimate ability is toned down so that Glartrox suppresses enemies for a shorter duration. The requirement to release Glartrox is increased, making it harder to activate in rapid engagements.
Glartrox itself becomes slightly less durable as its health drops from 500 to 400. The dash duration is reduced from 6 seconds to 3.5 seconds, and the enemy grab hitbox is tightened. These changes aim to reduce Elsa’s ability to dominate fights with overwhelming control while keeping her identity as an aggressive Duelist intact.
Hawkeye damage adjustments explained
Hawkeye’s long-range lethality has been reduced to make his precision shots less oppressive across maps. Piercing Arrow base damage drops from 34 to 28, and the base damage of a fully charged arrow decreases from 85 to 70.
When boosted by Archer’s Focus, a charged arrow now deals 160 damage instead of 175. These tweaks require Hawkeye players to maintain accuracy and positioning to secure eliminations rather than relying on high burst damage alone.
Hela receives range and damage falloff changes
Hela’s threat at long range is scaled back with new falloff values on Nightsword Thorn. Damage falloff still begins at 18 meters, but at 30 meters it now drops to 70 percent of base damage instead of 80 percent.
Beyond 25 meters, two critical hits will no longer eliminate a 250 HP target. This adjustment keeps Hela strong at mid range while limiting her ability to dominate from extreme distances.
Gambit nerfs target survivability and team impact
Gambit sees a reduction in both survivability and damage support potential. His base health is lowered from 275 to 250, making him easier to eliminate during coordinated pushes.
Breaking Spades now grants a 10 percent damage boost instead of 15 percent. This reduces his team-wide offensive impact while keeping him viable in coordinated compositions.
Patch 0219 does not attempt to overhaul the meta but instead reins in several standout heroes that have shaped recent matches. Elsa Bloodstone, Hawkeye, Hela, and Gambit all receive targeted nerfs that should reduce their dominance without removing them from competitive play.
NetEase emphasized that these adjustments are designed to maintain a stable environment for the rest of Season 6 while more substantial changes and new content are prepared for Season 7.
