Legends of Runeterra Corrupted 2022 event is here alongside the new expansion, The Darkin Saga: Awakening, a new pass, a new quest, new cosmetics, and more.
The Forces from Beyond expansion and Star Guardian 2022 even has finally come to an end. Even though that expansion only released three new champions, they all shook up the meta. And now, Riot Games has released a new expansion called Awakening.
This expansion has five new champions: Kayn, Master Yi, Ornn, Jax, and a Legends of Runeterra exclusive champion, Norra. In addition, they also introduced new card-type Equipment and new vocabs such as Flow, Improvise, and Forge. They are also adding a new region for Path of Champions, Shadow Isles.
Alongside this new expansion, Riot has also released a new event called Corrupted 2022. This event focuses on the Darkins. It will include new decks and bundles, alongside new skins such as Corrupted Leona, Corrupted Diana, Corrupted Pantheon, Corrupted Taric, and upcoming Corrupted Zoe.

Event Start and End Date
The Corrupted 2022 event started on August 31, 2022, at 10:00 AM PT, and the event is scheduled to end on October 5, 2022, at 10:00 AM PT.
Corrupted 2022 Event Pass
The Corrupted 2022 premium pass will cost 975 Coins. Even without the premium pass, you can still play and level up your event pass, but you will only be able to get the free rewards. To get all the rewards, you have to buy the premium pass.
Pass rewards
You can earn the Corrupted Crystals by playing games and completing different quests. Using that Corrupted Crystals, you can unlock the rewards from the pass.
