Riot Games officially reveals Ruined King: A League of Legends Story inspired Sea Dog Yasuo & Gangplank the Betrayer skins — releasing on patch 12.8.
2021 was the year of the Ruined King. Riot not only released events across all of its titles but also released its first-ever turn-based RPG Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. While Riot’s hit series Arcane gave us a glimpse of what League of Legends lore is capable of, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story also lets players explore a different part of League mythology.
It has six different playable characters; while most of them were already part of the League of Legends event and received either Ruined or Sentinel skins, Yasuo was left behind in the mysteries of Bilgewater and Shadow Isles.
Gangplank, however, is also part of Ruined King: A League of Legends Story — not as a protagonist but as a boss. But, because of his muscular body, many GP mains wanted that model as League of Legends skins.
Riot Games has now officially revealed the upcoming skins for patch 12.8. And it seems, along with the Eclipse 2022 skins, it will also feature two Ruined King: A League of Legends Story inspired skins: Sea Dog Yasuo & Gangplank the Betrayer.
