Riot Games have officially revealed a new skin for Viego, King Viego. Here’s everything you need to know.
Viego is one of the most popular champions in League of Legends. And with his release, we saw one of the infamous events in all of League of Legends, the Ruination event. However, players had very mixed opinions about this event. Moreover, a new League of Legends game called The Ruined King: A League of Legends Story was supposed to come out around the same time. Unfortunately, the game got delayed with no further confirmed release date.
But a few months after the event, The Ruined King game actually came out and fixed most issues with the Ruination event. The game overall was a huge success and expanded the story of the Ruined King, Viego.
Recently, Riot released a new novel about the Ruined king story, which was received very positively by the readers. Now, Riot wants to add a new Viego skin as a commemoration for the release of the Ruination novel.
The new Viego skin is called King Viego. It depicts Viego before he got corrupted by the black mists of the Blessed Isles. The skin currently has different particles, VFX, sound effects, and animations.

Release Date
King Viego is currently out on PBE for testing. And it will come out on League of Legends patch 12.17, expected on Friday, September 10, 2022.
