With a new Prestige skin right around the corner, let us look at all the prestige skins released in League of Legends up until now.
Prestige in League of Legends skins are essentially re-imagined versions of an existing skin with some color variations and tweaks. They were added to the game along with the Hextech Crafting System in patch 9.1 and have since been a staple of the system.
The Prestige skins are meant to be limited-edition items and, thus, are quite challenging to get. These skins cannot be bought with Riot’s premium currency, RP. However, they require players to obtain a rare currency called prestige Points, which they can spend to get their desired Prestige skins. Additionally, they are in the shop for a limited time.
That said, there have been two iterations of these Prestige skins. Prestige 1.0, when they were released, was received with good fan reception. They had promising concepts, but the quality of the skins was not up to par with Riot’s newer skins. Thus, Riot announced more recent versions of Prestige skins called Prestige 2.0, aiming to improve their quality significantly.

What Are Prestige 2.0 Skins?
Riot announced prestige 2.0 skins along with the Mythic Content Overhaul. According to the fans, the previous iteration of the skins was a glorified Golden Chroma. They were also not worth the high price of the Prestige skins. So, Riot revamped the concept and created Prestige 2.0.
According to Riot, “Prestige 2.0 skins are high-fashion reimaginings of the base thematic, as if it were the theme for a red carpet or runway event.” In addition, the new Prestige skins have better quality and splash art than the previous version.
How many Prestige 2.0 Skins have been Released So Far in 2023?
Including the Prestige skins released in 2022, there have been Twenty-Six prestige 2.0 skins released so far. The latest skin, Winterblessed Camille Prestige Edition, is currently in the PBE (Public Beta Environment) server for testing.

Prestige Porcelain Lux

The first Prestige skin of the year comes from the beautiful Porcelain skin line. The skin was inspired by the Chinese Zodiac and is the prestige version of the Porcelain Lux skin.
Prestige Brave Phoenix Xayah
- Release Date: February 17, 2022
Brave Phoenix Xayah Prestige Edition, released along with this year’s Lunar event, is the prestige version of Brave Phoenix Xayah.
Prestige Battle Cat Jinx
- Release Date: March 31, 2022
Prestige Battle Cat Jinx is from the Anima Squad skin line and the Prestige version of Battle Cat Jinx. The skin imagines Jinx as a cat-themed warrior and a defender of Earth from alien invasion.
Prestige Lunar Eclipse Senna
- Release Date: April 28, 2022
Prestige Lunar Eclipse Senna, the skin is inspired by an ancient order of knights and is the Prestige edition of Lunar Eclipse Senna.
Prestige High Noon Talon
- Release Date: May 12, 2022
Prestige High Noon Talon, hailing from the High Noon skin line, is one of the best Talon skin to be released. The skin is unique and differentiates itself from the base skin with a model and VFX.
Prestige Ocean Song Seraphine
- Release Date: June 9, 2022
Prestige Ocean Song Seraphine is a very good skin and is on par with her Ultimate skin regarding her splash and visual effects. The skin is a must-buy for any Seraphine Player.
Prestige Star Guardian Ekko
- Release Date: July 14, 2022
Prestige Star Guardian Ekko is the first of two Star Guardian-themed Prestige skin this year, along with Prestige Star Guardian Syndra. Ekko wields a greatsword in this skin and dawns on the Star Guardian aesthetic.
Prestige Star Guardian Syndra
- Release Date: July 28, 2022
Prestige Star Guardian Syndra is probably the best Syndra skin to be released and maybe one of the best prestige skin. The skin has beautiful splash art and crisp visual effects. In addition, the skin improves upon Star Guardian Syndra and elevates it to a different level, a must-buy for all Syndra players.
