Riot has revealed the upcoming skin that will have a prestige variant, Fright Night Zeri.
Fright Night is one of the most unique Halloween-themed skin lines we have received in League of Legends. It initially started as one of the oldest skin lines in the game, Gothic. That universe contained skins like Goth Annie, Emumu, and Gothic Orianna. But after the Orianna skin, they retired this skin line in favor of more unique skin lines.
However, in 2022, Riot brought back the gothic skin line with a new name called Fright Night. This time the theming was very unique as it contained some of the first cel-shaded skins in the game. The first iteration of Fright Night had skins for Annie, Draven, Nautilus, Renata Glasc, Trundle, and Urgot.
Even though this run of Fright Night was very popular, it did not contain any legendary skin or prestige skin. But we wouldn’t have to worry about it as Riot announced that we are getting a new set of Fright Night skins in 2024. This iteration of this skin line would contain a legendary skin and a prestige skin. In terms of prestige, Fright Night Zeri would receive this honor.
Since Zeri’s release, she has been a balance nightmare in League of Legends. While she is very popular in pro-play and ranked, she only has 3 unique skins. And with the upcoming Fright Night skin and the prestige variant, it might become her best skin as of yet.
