Riot has revealed the upcoming legendary skin coming to League of Legends, Fright Night Veigar.
Gothic is one of the earliest skin lines in League of Legends. It initially started with Goth Annie, and this skin line also featured Amumu and Orianna. However, after Gothic Orianna, Riot retired this skin line in favor of other more unique skin lines.
With that said, in the 2022 VGU poll, players could vote for one of the older retired skin lines to come back. The majority of the players voted for the gothic skin line. So Riot brought it back in the same year with a new name, Fright Night.
Fright Night is one of the most unique Halloween-themed skins we have received in League of Legends. It is inspired by old-school horror movies and is also cel-shaded. This skin line featured skins for Annie, Renata Glasc, Nautilus, Draven, Urgot, and Trundle.
Even though these skins were amazing, Fright Night 2022 did not feature any legendary skins. We wouldn’t have to worry about it as Riot has revealed that Fright Night is coming back to League of Legends in 2024. Moreover, this time it would feature a legendary skin for Veigar, Fright Night Veigar.
This new Veigar skin will not be his first legendary. He already has a legendary in the form of Final Boss Veigar. However, that skin was released around a decade ago. With that said, both of the legendaries have their unique themes and such. But, the animation on the Fright Night is more expressive, therefore, it might be better than the previous legendary.

The Fright Night 2024 skins will be released on patch 14.19, scheduled for Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
