Now, how many Spider-Bots are there in Spider-Man 2? There are 42 Spider-Bots in Spider-Man 2. That’s correct. You can find 42 Spider-Bots on the expansive map of New York City.
But what’s the catch? Why are players searching for Spider-Bot locations in Spider-Man 2?
There are two reasons for that. The first problem is that these bots don’t appear on the map. You have to find them in New York City with your eyes and ears open. They make a distinct pinging noise and radiate pulses of light that reveal their locations.
The second concern is that if you want to finish the whole Spider-Man 2 game, you need to find all the Spider-Bots. After finding all the Spider-Bots, some new game content will unlock. So, if you want to be a completionist, you need to find them.

How to Collect Spider-Bots
Spider-Bots don’t show up on your map like other collectibles. To find them, listen for a distinct pinging sound as you explore the city. Also watch for pink light pulses; these indicate a Spider-Bot is nearby.
Once you’re close, use the pinging and light bursts to track down the exact location. Spider-Bots may crawl on walls, rooftops, or even hover in mid-air. Get right next to one and press the prompt to collect it.
As you find Spider-Bots, your progress is tracked in the Collections tab. Use this to see how many you’ve found so far in each district.
Rewards for Collecting Spider-Bots
There are 42 Spider-Bots to find. If you collect all of them, you’ll unlock a side mission called The Message in the Financial District. Completing this mission will earn you:
