Best Weapon You Should Use for Light Build
There are 21 weapons in the Finals, with 9 of them exclusive to the Light Build. Although all weapons for Light Build are potent in-game, a few stand out due to their versatility and damage output.
You may notice that we’ve excluded all the melee weapons from the list. We discovered that they were unreliable while trying to play for the actual goal. In short, they are only good for killing, not for winning. In any case, here are our top 5 light build weapon picks that can maximize your winning chances in The Finals.
5. SR-84

Weapon overview:
- Bodyshot damage – 115
- Headshot damage – 230 (2x)
- Damage per second – 90
- Magazine capacity – 40
- Reload time – 3.3 seconds
The SR-84 is the scout or marksman rifle option for Light Build mains. During our playtime with the sniper rifle, we found it the perfect option for long-range combat. However, its visibility issues made the sniper less impactful for close-range engagements. In a team environment, there are better options for light build mains to choose from.
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
High damage output | Less reliable at closer ranges |
High hip-fire inaccuracy | |
Not ideal for team compositions |
4. LH1

Weapon overview:
- Bodyshot damage – 47
- Headshot damage – 94 (2x)
- Damage per second – 241
- Magazine capacity – 15
- Reload time – 2.7 seconds
The LH1, better known as the M1 Garand in most games, is one of the two long-range options of Light Build mains. We used the rifle during our playing sessions and found it a great option for long-range gunfights. Although the LH1 has a slower fire rate, the high damage output makes up for the DPS. It is a great weapon, albeit there are better options.
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Reasonable magazine size | High recoil |
High Damage Profile | Inaccuracy at hip fire |
| Hard to master |
3. XP-54

Weapon overview:
- Bodyshot damage – 18
- Headshot damage – 27 (1.5x)
- Damage per second – 265
- Magazine capacity – 30
- Reload time – 2.45 seconds
The XP-54 is the MP5 of the Finals. We chose the SMG for close-range engagements during our testing period. It has a great DPS stat and easily hits opponents at close to mid-ranges. We recommend the SMG over M11 if you face aiming difficulties without attached optic sights.
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Better than M11 at medium-ranges | Low magazine size and DPS compared to M11 |
Low recoil | |
Attached optic sight |
2. M11

Weapon overview:
- Bodyshot damage – 16
- Headshot damage – 24 (1.5x)
- Damage per second – 274
- Magazine capacity – 40
- Reload time – 1.7 seconds
The M11 is a pistol-SMG hybrid with the best fire rate and high DPS. During our testing, we found it to be the best auto-firing weapon in the game. However, the only downside we encountered was its weakness at longer ranges.
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Best for close-range engagements | Weak at longer ranges |
Highest DPS | |
Highest fire rate | |
1. V9S

Weapon overview:
- Bodyshot damage – 35
- Headshot damage – 53 (1.5x)
- Damage per second – 263
- Magazine capacity – 20
- Reload time – 1.3 seconds
The V9S is one of the strongest weapons for Light Build. During our testing period, the pistol stood out due to its unmatched versatility. It performed exceptionally well for close-range gunfights due to its quick firing ability. However, the only downside to the pistol is its damage falls off at longer ranges, which can easily be countered by playing with your team or around your Heavy Build teammate.
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Excellent damage output at close-range | Hard to master |
Zero detection | |
Fast reload time | |
