League of Legends Worlds 2025 Will Take Place In China

As the end of Worlds 2024 is approaching, It was revealed that Worlds 2025 will take place in China.

League of Legends Worlds Championship is the most anticipated event in all of League of Legends. In this event, the best League players from all around the world compete against each other to earn the title of the best League of Legends team in the world.

This year, the tournament took place in Europe. Specifically, it is taking place in Berlin, Paris, and London. Play-ins and Swiss stage took place in Berlin, the quarter-final and semi-final took place in Paris, and the finals will take place in London.

At the time I am writing this article, the quarter-finals just ended. And for the semi-finals, we got Weibo Gaming vs Bilibili Gaming and T1 vs Gen.G. All of the matchups here are very intense and worth the watch.

With that said, the Worlds 2024 is almost coming to a close. And because of it, we are already getting a lot of information regarding Worlds 2025. The main information we got about it is that it will take place in China.

Worlds 2025 Will Take Place In China

This will not be the first time a Worlds will take place in China. The last time it took place in that region, was in 2020. Before that, it was 2017.

With all of that said China is one of the strongest regions competing in League of Legends. They are second only to Korea. To rewind back to last year, from the semi-finals onwards, only the Korea team was T1, and the rest were LPL teams. Though even against the odds, T1 won Worlds 2023.

With that said, Worlds 2025 will be exciting as LPL teams like Weibo are looking like a top competitors in the current Worlds. But for now, we have to wait and see.
