ARAM is getting some much-needed changes in Patch 14.23.
The League of Legends game mode ARAM has received one of its biggest changes yet with the latest Patch 14.22 update.
The update brought with it a new ARAM map called The Bridge of Progress. It is an Arcane-inspired map that incorporates features of both Zaun and Piltover. The Purple side or Red side has elements based on Zaun and is powered by its respective power source Chemtech/Shimmer. On the other hand, the Piltover or Blue side appears to be powered by Hextech.
Aside from visual changes, the game has been updated with new features. Each side gets various buffs based on their respective technologies. There are also some new Champion ARAM exclusive Quests too.
Like any new product, the new ARAM map has some problems. For example, the Zaun team has much greater win rates due to certain structures/barricades. There are also balance issues with the newly introduced buffs.
Thus in the upcoming patch, Riot is implementing some massive balance changes to iron out these issues. In this article, we will discuss these changes and how they would affect the game mode.
