League of Legends Season 15 has arrived, here’s a look at the Patch Schedule for 2025.

League of Legends is a constantly evolving game. From its humble beginnings in 2009 to its current status as one of the most played games in 2025, it has evolved beyond expectation. The reason behind the game’s glorious evolution is the developer of the game, Riot Game’s ability to constantly update the game.

Every couple of weeks, fourteen days to be precise, Riot introduces updates or patches to the game. These patches maintain the game’s balance and add much-needed variety.

The majority of these patches include Balance Adjustments, Bug Fixes, and New Features. Aside from these changes, Riot publishes new champion skins with each patch. Sometimes, Riot even releases new Champions, Reworks, or Mini-Reworks for older champions.

Because of how quickly the game is updated, it’s difficult for players to keep track of the changes. As a result, Riot publishes a patch schedule at the start of each year. This allows players to keep informed of upcoming changes and adjust accordingly.

LoL Patch Schedule 2025

Unlike prior years, the patch naming scheme has been changed for 2025, and onwards. Patch titles will now begin with the year they were issued, followed by the season and, finally, the number of patches. So, the first patch of 2025 will be 25.S1.1.

Note: Riot has updated the naming scheme so it no longer has the name of the season in the middle. So it will now be, 25.4 instead of 25.S1.4.
