League of Legends Patch 25.17 Notes: New Changes, Release Date, and More

Patch 25.17 is here, and here’s everything you need to know.

Riot just revealed the upcoming changes arriving in Patch 25.17, and there are a lot of changes.

Starting off with the champion buffs, quite a lot of champions are getting buffed in this patch, including the marksmen Kog’Maw, Miss Fortune, Nilah, Senna, and Vayne. In addition to the marksmen, Irelia, Kassadin, Kayn, Morgana, and Sett are buffed in the patch. There are also system buffs to Axiom Arc, Horizon Focus, and Profane Hydra. As for nerfs, there aren’t many. Gwen, Rumble, and Singed are getting nerfed, while Master Yi is getting some of his buffs reverted.

Finally, let’s talk about the skins. We are getting a total of six new skins this patch. Two of the skins are from the returning Arcana skin line, Elderwood is also getting a new skin. Additionally, Riot is releasing a new Darkin-themed skin line called Visions of the Fallen, which will feature skins for Tryndamere, Garen, and Jarvan IV.

Patch 25.17 Champion Changes

Here are all the champion changes arriving in this patch.

Champion Buffs

Quite a number of champions are being buffed in this patch, including Irelia, Kassadin, Senna, Vayne, and more.

Irelia

W – Defiant Dance

Minimum AP ratio increased to 45% AP from 40% AP.
Maximum AP ratio increased to 135% AP from 120% AP.

E – Flawless Duet

AP ratio increased to 100% AP from 80% AP.
Cooldown reduced to 16 / 14.5 / 13 / 11.5 / 10 seconds from 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 / 12.

Kassadin

Q – Null Sphere

AP ratio increased to 70% AP from 60% AP.

E – Force Pulse

AP ratio increased to 70% AP from 65% AP.

Kayn

Q – Reaping Slash

Mana cost reduced to 40 from 50.

W – Blade’s Reach

Mana cost reduced to 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 from 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80.

Kog’Maw

Q – Caustic Spittle

AP ratio increased to 90% AP from 80% AP.

W – Bio-Arcane Barrage

AP ratio increased to 1.5% per 100 AP from 1% per 100 AP.

R – Living Artillery

AP ratio increased to 35 / 40 / 45% AP from 35% AP at all ranks.

Miss Fortune

Base Stats

Base attack damage increased to 55 from 53.

Morgana

W – Tormented Shadow

Minimum base damage per tick increased to 9 / 15.5 / 22 / 28.5 / 35 from 7 / 14 / 21 / 28 / 35.
Maximum base damage per tick increased to 18 / 31 / 44 / 57 / 70 from 14 to 70.
Mana cost reduced to 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 from 70 / 85 / 100 / 115 / 130.

Nilah

Q – Formless Blade

Cone monster damage increased to 100% from 10%.

Senna

Base Stats

Attack speed growth increased to 2.6% from 2.2%.

Q – Piercing Darkness

Base heal increased to 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 from 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 100.

Sett

E – Facebreaker

Bonus monster damage increased to 125 – 250 (based on level) from 100 at all levels.

Vayne

W – Silver Bolts

New Effect: Damage is now set to 160 / 170 / 180 / 190 / 200 against monsters.

Champion Nerfs

Gwen, Rumble, and Singed are getting nerfed this patch. In addition, Riot is reverting some of the buffs they did for Master Yi.

Base Stats

Base armor reduced to 33 from 36.
Attack speed growth increased to 2.5% from 2.2%.

R – Needlework

Initial slow reduced to 30 / 45 / 60% from 60% at all ranks.
Subsequent slow reduced to 15 / 20 / 25% from 25% at all ranks.

Master Yi

Base Stats

Base health reduced to 655 from 669.

Q – Alpha Strike

On-hit modifier reduced to 60% from 75%.

Rumble

Q – Flamespitter

Total base damage reduced to 60 / 85 / 110 / 135 / 160 from 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180.
- Base damage per tick reduced to 5 / 7.08 / 9.17 / 11.25 / 13.33 from 5 / 7.5 / 10 / 12.5 / 15

Singed

Q – Poison Trail

Debuff duration reduced to 2 seconds from 2.2.
Maximum ticks reduced to 7 from 8.
Maximum damage reduced to 35 / 52.5 / 70 / 87.5 / 105 (+ 74.375% AP) from 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 (+ 85% AP).

Here are all the system changes arriving in this patch.

System Buffs

Axiom Arc, Horizon Focus, and Profane Hydra are getting some much-needed buffs.

Axiom Arc

Combine cost reduced to 363 from 613.
Total cost reduced to 2750 from 3000.

Horizon Focus

Combine cost reduced to 200 from 250.
Total cost reduced to 2750 from 2800.
Ability power increased to 120 from 115.

Profane Hydra

Total cost reduced to 2850 from 3200.
Combine cost reduced to 313 from 663.
Attack damage increased to 60 from 55.

Patch 25.17 Skins

Patch 25.17 will see the return of two fan favorite skin lines, Arcana and Elderwood. In addition, Riot is releasing a new Darkin-inspired skin line called Visions of the Fallen. Finally, Xin Zhao will be getting his much-anticipated visual rework this patch. The rework will revamp his base model and all his existing skins.
