League of Legends Patch 25.14 Notes: New Changes, Release Date, and More

With the MSI patch now behind us, Riot is already preparing the next round of changes.

The last couple of patches in League of Legends had fewer changes compared to previous patches. It was mostly due to MSI, and Riot didn’t want to make massive changes before the tournament.

Now that the MSI patch is out, Riot is yet again starting to make massive changes to the game, and that is reflected in the changes that are arriving in Patch 25.14. Starting off with one of the biggest changes in the patch, Kled mini-rework. The champion has been struggling quite a bit, and this Riot is giving him a much-needed rework to make him in line with the meta champions.

We also have some big changes to Fiora’s ultimate ability, Grand Challenge. Moreover, Riot is releasing the new marksmen champion, Yunara, in this patch. In addition to these, there are more changes arriving in the upcoming days.

So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the upcoming Patch 25.14 changes,

When Will Patch 25.14 Be Released?

League of Legends Patch 25.14 is expected to be released on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

Release time and server maintenance:

  • NA: 3:00 AM PT
  • EUW: 5:00 UK time
  • EUNE: 3:00 CET

Patch 25.14 Champion Changes

Here’s a list of all the new champion/champion changes arriving in this patch.

New Champion

The newest marksmen champion in League of Legends, Yunara, has arrived and will be released this patch 25.14.

Yunara – The Unbroken Faith

Base Stats

  • Attack Range: 575
  • HP: 625 – 2444
  • MP: 275 – 1040
  • AD: 56 – 98.5
  • Armor: 26 – 100.8
  • Magic Resistance: 30 – 52.1
  • Movement Speed: 325
  • Base Attack Speed: 0.65

Passive – Vow of the First Lands

  • Yunara’s Critical Strikes deal an additional 10% (+0.1% AP) magic damage.

Q – Cultivation of Spirit

Cooldown: 0

Cost: 8 Unleash stacks + 10 Mana.

  • Passive: Yunara’s Attacks deal an additional 5/10/15/20/25 (+10% AP) magic damage On-Hit. Launching an Attack causes Yunara to generate 1 Unleash (maximum: 8), increased to 2 when attacking a champion. Not attacking for 6 seconds causes Yunara to lose 1 Unleash every 0.5 seconds.
  • Active: Yunara unleashes her inner potential for 5 seconds, during which she gains 40/50/60/70/80% bonus Attack Speed, her attacks deal an additional 10/15/20/25/30 (+10% AP) magic damage On-Hit, and her Attacks spread to nearby enemies, dealing 30% total AD physical damage.
    • Spread Attacks will Strike Critically if the Attack initiating the spread was a Critical Strike or if the target was a Structure and a Critical Strike was rolled. Damage from spread Attacks deals 250% damage to minions below 30% HP. Spread Attacks apply On-Hit effects and Life Steal at 30% effectiveness.

W – Arc of Judgement/Arc of Ruin

Cooldown: 10 seconds. Transcendent State – Arc of Ruin: 5 seconds.

Cost: 60 Mana.

  • Arc of Judgement: Yunara lets rip a spinning prayer bead that slows down when near enemies and lingers and expands when it reaches its endpoint. The initial hit deals 5/25/45/65/85 (+110% bonus AD) (+50% AP) physical damage and slows by 99%, decaying over 1.5 seconds. It deals an additional 10/30/50/70/90 (+40% bonus AD) (+25% AP) physical damage per second to enemies in an area.
  • Transcendent State – Arc of Ruin: Yunara fires off a laser that deals 75/125/175 (based on R –Transcend One’s Self‘s rank) (+50% bonus AD) (+75% AP) physical damage + 75/125/175 (based on R –Transcend One’s Self‘s rank) (+50% bonus AD) (+75% AP) magic damage and Slows by 99% decaying over 1 second.
    • Cast time scales with permanent Attack Speed (maximum 100% bonus Attack Speed). Arc of Judgement deals 50-100% (based on level) damage to minions, and its tick damage executes minions if 6 ticks of damage would kill them. Arc of Ruin is considered an Ultimate ability.

E – Kanmei’s Steps/Untouchable Shadow

Cooldown: 10 seconds. Transcendent State – Untouchable Shadow: 6 seconds.

Cost: 35 Mana.

  • Kanmei’s Steps: Yunara becomes Ghosted and gains a 60% bonus Move Speed, increasing to 90% bonus Move Speed when moving towards an enemy champion, which decays over 2 seconds.
  • Transcendent State – Untouchable Shadow: Yunara dashes in a direction. Dash speed is 1350/1500/1650 (based on R – Transcend One’s Self‘s rank) and can now go over walls.

R – Transcend One’s Self 

Cooldown: 100/85/70 seconds.

Cost: 100 Mana.

Arc of Ruin Damage: 150/250/350

Untouchable Shadow Dash Speed: 1350/1500/1650

  • Yunara enters a Transcendent State for 15 seconds
  • Q – Cultivation of Spirit is activated for the duration, W – Arc of Judgement is upgraded to Transcendent State – Arc of Ruin and has its cooldown reduced by 50%, and E –  Kanmei’s Steps is upgraded to Transcendent State – Untouchable Shadow and has its cooldown refreshed.

Champion Buffs

Azir, Darius, Fiora, Fizz, and Ziggs are getting buffed.

Azir

Base Stats

  • Base health increased from 575 to 550.

W – Arise!

  • AP ratio increased to 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 / 65% AP from 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60% AP.

Darius

Q – Decimate

  • Heal increased to 17% – 51% (based on enemies hit by the blade), missing health from 15% – 45%.

Fiora

R – Grand Challenge

  • Victory Zone heal rate increased to once every 0.25 seconds from once every 0.5 seconds.
  • Bug Fix: Victory Zone VFX no longer disappears prematurely, lasting for 2 – 5 (based on Vitals hit) seconds instead of the proper 5.
  • Removed: Victory Zone heal per second is no longer based on the number of Vitals hit.
  • New: Now heals for 75 / 100 / 125 (+ 60% bonus AD) per second.
  • 375 / 500 / 625 (+ 300% bonus AD) total, over 5 seconds.
  • Old: Previously healed for 30 – 75 / 40 – 100 / 50 – 125 (based on Vitals hit, by rank) (+ 24% – 60% (based on Vitals hit) bonus AD), per second.
  • 150 – 375 / 200 – 500 / 250 – 625 (based on Vitals hit, by rank) (+ 120% – 300% (based on Vitals hit) bonus AD) total, over 5 seconds.

Fizz

W – Seastone Trident

  • Cooldown reduced to 7 / 6 / 5 / 4 / 3 seconds from 7 / 6.5 / 6 / 5.5 / 5.

E – Playful Trickster

  • AP ratio increased to 95% AP from 90% AP.

Ziggs

Q – Bouncing Bomb

  • Base damage reduced to 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 / 280 from 85 / 135 / 185 / 235 / 285.
  • AP ratio changed to 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80% AP from 65% AP at all ranks.

W – Hexplosive Minefield

  • AP ratio changed to 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45% AP from 30% AP at all ranks.

R – Mega Inferno Bomb

  • Maximum base damage increased to 300 / 500 / 700 from 300 / 450 / 600.
  • Minimum base damage increased to 200 / 333.33 / 466.67 from 200 / 300 / 400.
  • Maximum AP ratio is reduced to 100% AP from 110% AP.
  • Minimum AP ratio reduced to 66.66% AP from 73.33% AP.

Champion Nerfs

Quite a number of champions are getting nerfed.

Braum

Base Stats

  • Base armor reduced to 42 from 47.

Lee Sin

Base Stats

  • Base attack damage reduced to 66 from 69.

Riven

Passive – Runic Blade

  • AD ratio reduced to 30% – 50% (based on level) AD from 30% – 60% (based on level) AD.

Sett

Base Stats

  • Armor growth reduced to 4.7 from 5.2.

Twisted Fate

Q – Wild Cards

  • Base damage reduced to 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 from 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250.

Yasuo

Base Stats

  • Attack damage growth reduced to 2.5 from 3.

Yuumi

R – Final Chapter

  • Heal AP ratio per hit reduced to 10% AP from 15% AP.

Zoe

Q – Paddle Star!

  • Damage lowered from 57-220 (+60% AP) to 52-220 (+60% AP)

W – Spell Thief

  • Base damage per bolt reduced to 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 from 25 / 35 / 45 / 55 / 65.
  • AP ratio per bolt increased to 15% AP from 13.33% AP.

Champion Adjustments

Kled is getting some massive changes in this patch.

Kled

Passive – Skaarl, the Cowardly Lizard

  • New Effect: Remount health is now granted upon gaining 100 Courage, rather than at the end of remounting.
  • New Effect: Being dismounted now grants him bonus armor and bonus magic resistance equal to 1% of Kled’s bonus health, increased by 20% per nearby enemy champion up to 2% bonus health.
  • Courage from minion kills increased to 5 from 4.
  • Courage from takedowns reduced to 0 from 20.
  • Dismounted basic attack damage against champions increased to 85 / 90 / 95 / 100% (based on level) from 80% at all levels.
  • Dismounted base movement speed reduction reduced to 40 from 60.
  • Dismounted bonus movement speed reduced to 70 – 155 (based on level) from 100 – 185 (based on level).
  • Dismounted bonus movement speed range increased to 1200 units from 1000.
  • Skaarl’s base health was reduced to 400 – 1400 (based on level) from 400 – 1500 (based on level).
  • Remount health reduced to 40 / 50 / 60 / 70% (based on level) of Skaarl’s maximum health from 45 / 55 / 65 / 75% (based on level).
  • Dismount dash timer changed to 0.75 seconds from varying.
  • Bug Fix: No longer destroys allied projectiles while untargetable.
  • Bug Fix: Courage bar now always turns yellow when equal to or above 50 Courage.
  • Bug Fix: Kled’s health no longer sometimes shows an incorrect amount after remounting.
  • Bug Fix: No longer sometimes incorrectly calculates health regeneration for 0.25 seconds after remounting.
  • Bug Fix: No longer loses an extremely small amount of attack damage while dismounted.
  • Bug Fix: Granted bonus movement speed while dismounted now updates on level-up.

Q – Bear Trap on a Rope (Mounted)

  • Tether bonus AD ratio was reduced to 60% bonus AD from 65%.
  • Removed: No longer applies  Grievous Wounds on pull for 5 seconds.
  • Pull timer is now a fixed duration, rather than fuzzy.
  • Slow reduced to 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50% from 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60%.
  • Slow duration increased to 2.5 seconds from 1.5.
  • New Effect: Damage calculations now update for the pull instead of using the values at the time of the tether.
  • New Effect: Now checks for champions at Kled’s zero point.

Q – Pocket Pistol (Unmounted)

  • New Effect: Now checks for champions at Kled’s zero point.
  • Recharge timer changed to 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 / 10 seconds from 20 – 7.25 (based on level).
  • Bonus AD ratio per pellet was reduced to 65% bonus AD from 80%.

W – Violent Tendencies

  • Cooldown increased to 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 seconds from 11 / 9.5 / 8 / 6.5 / 5.
  • New Effect: Basic attacks now reduce its cooldown by 1.5 seconds, reduced to 0.5 against non-champions.
  • Bonus AD ratio was reduced to 2% per 100 bonus AD from 5%.
  • New Effect: Now scales with 0.4% per 100 bonus health.
  • New Effect: Attacking wards now maintain bonus attack speed rather than consuming the effect.
  • Bug Fix: The fourth attack’s bonus damage and animation are no longer disabled by silence and forced actions while dismounted.

E – Jousting

  • Bonus AD ratio was reduced to 55% bonus AD from 65%.
  • New Effect: The recast timer is now tracked on HUD.
  • New Effect: Recast now has a range indicator.
  • Bug Fix: No longer sometimes hits units twice with one cast by pulling them in.

R – Chaaaaaaaarge!!!

  • Damage type changed to magic from physical.
  • Minimum base damage increased to 4 / 6 / 8% of the target’s maximum health from 4 / 5 / 6%.
  • Damage bonus AD ratio was reduced to 3% per 100 bonus AD from 4%.
  • New Effect: Pinging the ability now shows available targets in range.
  • Bug Fix: No longer loses CC-immunity if the charge ends shortly before the dash begins.
  • Bug Fix: No longer causes Kled to sometimes lose  Elixir of Iron’s trail.

Patch 25.14 System Changes

Here’s a list of all the new system changes arriving in patch 25.14.

System Buffs

Blade, Kraken, Phantom Dancer, and Rod of Ages are getting buffed.

Blade of the Ruined King

  • Mist’s Edge damage increased to ( 9% / 6%) of the target’s current health from ( 8% / 5%).

Kraken Slayer

  • Total cost reduced to  3000 from  3100.
    • Combine cost has been reduced to  325 from  425.
  • Bring It Down bonus damage increased to 0% – 75% (based on target’s missing health) from 0% – 50%.
    • Bring It Down maximum damage changed to ( 262.5 – 350 / 210 – 280) (based on level) from ( 225 – 300 / 180 – 240) (based on level)

Phantom Dancer

  • Attack speed increased 65% from 60%.
  • Bonus movement speed increased to 10% from 8%.

Rod of Ages

  • Mana increased to 500 from 400.
  • Timeless mana per stack increased to 30 from 20.
    • Maximum bonus mana increased to 300 from 200.

System Nerfs

Haunting Guise stacking and Unsealed Spellbook Smite are getting nerfed.

Haunting Guise

  • Madness is now Unique.

Unsealed Spellbook

  • Swapped Smite damage reduced to 600 / 600 / 900 (based on number of swaps) from 600 / 900 / 1200 (based on number of swaps).

Patch 25.14 Skins

The second batch of Dawn/Nightbringer skins is arriving in this patch. In addition, a brand new skin for the new champion, Yunara, called Spirit Blossom Springs Yunara, is also being released.
