Patch 25.05 is here and everything you need to know about the upcoming patch.

Riot Phroxzon has announced the upcoming changes arriving in Patch 25.05 and here is an overview of all the changes arriving in the patch.

Before we go into the details, we need to talk about the patch naming scheme change. Riot has yet again changed the patch naming scheme and now the patches will no longer have the name of the season in the middle. Thus the patch name has been changed from Patch 25.S2.1 to Patch 25.05.

As for the balance changes, there are fewer changes compared to previous patches. Since this will be the patch that the new international tournament “First Stand” will be played on, thus Riot has kept changes to a minimum. That said, there are still some important changes arriving in this patch. Ambessa, Aurora, Ashe, and K’Sante are all getting nerfs and Aphelios is getting some buffs. Also, Riot is making some massive changes for Lane Swapping and thus we won’t have to witness constant lane swapping in the tournament.

There are still a lot of changes to cover, so without further ado let’s get into the Patch 25.05 changes.
