The 2022 edition of League of Legends’ One for All game mode is returning with the Anima Squad event. Here’s everything you need to know.

One For All is a limited-time 5v5 game mode in League of Legends where all the players from each team pick the same champion and go against each other in the Summoner’s Rift.

Since its release in 2013, the One for All game mode quickly grabbed players’ attention and became one of the most beloved game modes in League of Legends. In Season 10, One for All returned as a rotating mode after a two-year break with a pre-champion balance like ARAM and URF, and last season it also had huge responses.

Now, One for All is again making its return as the next rotating game mode in LoL after the ARURF, with new entries like Zeri and Renata Glasc.

One for All 2022 Start and End Date

One for All is going to return to the Summoner’s Rift with the Anima Squad event, and it will start from LoL patch 12.6, March 31, 2022.

One for All game mode will be available throughout the whole event, and it will end at the same time as the event ends.

How it works

One for All has both the ban phase and vote phase. During the ban phase, all the players will have the chance to ban the champions they hate to face. However, the voting phase is a bit different.

Starting from 2020, the majority pick (3 votes) no longer automatically determines the champion.

Currently, if 4 players vote for the same champion only then it will automatically win the vote. This means, if three players pick the same champion, the other two players who voted for different champions will now have a chance to have their picks in the game.

Furthermore, if there’s no clear majority in the voting phase, one random champion will be assigned from the votes.

Last year, Karthus and Teemo were disabled from the One for All game mode, so they will likely remain disabled in 2022 as well.
