New Notification Systems will be coming to League of Legends in the upcoming patch.

The League of Legends Season 14 Split 2 has almost come to its closure. With the release of Patch 14.19, we will officially bid farewell to Split 2 and move on to the next. But before we move on to Split 3, we need to discuss the changes coming to the first patch of Split 3, Patch 14.19.

Unlike the regular biweekly patches, Patch 14.19 will come with tons of changes. First, Riot is making changes to a bunch of champions. Champions that fall into this category are Tristana, K’Sante, and much more. There’s also Lethal Tempo coming back and runes like Biscuit Delivery.

However, the most important changes are to the items. Almost every item in the game is getting nerfed one way or another. But there are some really good Quality of Life changes coming as well.

In this article, we will take a look at those Quality of Life changes in the form of New Notification Systems.

New Notification Systems

Here’s a list of all the new Notification Systems,

Don’t Forget Your Items!

Forgetting to buy items before leaving the fountain for the first time has to be one of the most frustrating experiences in League of Legends. This leads to many disadvantageous situations, including going to the lane late and burning Teleport to go back to the lane.

This is why Riot is introducing an alert notification that will let you know if you exit the fountain at the start of the game without purchasing. Your gold counter will blink yellow to let you know you forgot to purchase. Now you will never be pinged by teammates for forgetting to buy items, the game will ping it for you.

Objective Announcements

When an epic objective such as Dragon or Baron spawns you will now see a banner announcement letting you know the objective is live. According to Riot, this change should reduce the burden on timers, and pings, in chat.

Potion Commotion and Biscuit Blasts

Have you ever forgotten to drink your potion? I know I have. But fret not, with the new “Drink me!” notification, you will never forget to drink your potion.

Not In My Jungle

Your Jungler just died in his Jungle due to an invade and you didn’t notice and now he is running it down because you didn’t help him.

Well, do not worry, you can now notice earlier with the new system-generated ping that triggers when combat in your jungle occurs. This also has an audio and mini-map VFX to let you know that your Jungler is currently being invaded.

The new notification might help you reach your Jungler faster but it won’t solve your Jungler running it down, sadly.

My Bad!

Everyone makes mistakes, even Pro players. But it is very hard to convey, sometimes you need to write a 100-page essay to convince your teammate that you didn’t smite your cannon minion on purpose.

But with the new notification “my bad” to say that you made a mistake. It works similarly to the “Fistbump” emote, just press the ‘i’ button, and an interactive emote will pop up to express your sincere apologies.

Release Date

The new Notification Systems along with other changes will be released in Patch 14.19, which is set to release on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
