Patch 25.S1.2 is almost here, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming patch.
League of Legends 2025, Season 1, has arrived. On January 8, 2025, Riot released the first patch of the year, signaling the start of Season 1.
As per the new season, Riot has introduced a ton of changes to the game, and these changes have been quite interesting, to say the least. Let’s start with the most controversial of the changes: the Battle Pass.
Riot has removed a number of free rewards from the new Battle Pass, the most notable being the removal of loot orbs. Players were able to obtain two loot orbs in the previous season, which yielded two random skin shards; however, this is no longer possible. Not only that, but the Blue Essence from daily quests is no longer available, and the only way to obtain it is through the Battle Pass, making acquiring new champions much more difficult, especially for new players.
There are also the balance changes. The introduction of “Feats of Strength” and “Atakhan” have made winning early game more important and making a comeback much harder. There is also the fact, that tanks are way too strong.
That said, Riot has stated that they are going to address some of the issues in the upcoming patch and even have given us a preview of what changes we can expect. So, without further ado let’s take a look at all the changes coming in Patch 25.S1.2.
