LA Guerillas TikTok has shared the easiest way to get longshots in Modern Warfare 2. Longshots are a vital part of the camo grind for most weapons.
Call of Duty is one of the most popular arcade shooters of all time. Most CoD titles feature unique mastery camos for their weapons which can be unlocked by completing in-game challenges. The challenges are tricky but can be achieved with a little grind in-game.
Modern Warfare 2 seems to be no different in this regard. It features four mastery camos: Gold, Platinum, Polyatomic, and Orion. However, players must get long shots on every weapon type to unlock platinum camo.
While getting kills is relatively easy in MW2, long shots are a little tricky as each weapon has different ranges from which the kills are labelled as long shots. Surprisingly, LA Guerillas has shared a TikTok with the easiest way to get long shots consistently in MW2.

TikTok shares the “Easiest” Way to Complete Long Shot Challenges
LA Guerillas TikTok shared the ultimate attachment players can use to get their longshots easily. The XTEN Angel-40 optic is the “hack” that will make getting the long shots in-game easier.
The XTEN Angel-40 is a holographic sight with a range meter at the top right. The range meter will help players to know the distance they are aiming at.
Long shots have different ranges for each weapon class. Here are the long shot ranges for each weapon class in Modern Warfare 2:
- Sniper Rifles: 50 meters
- Battle Rifles: 38 meters
- LMGs: 38 meters
- Marksman Rifles: 38 meters
- SMGs: 30 meters
- Pistols: 20 meters
- Shotguns: 12.5 meters
