Some of the default keybindings in Palworld are not changeable, at least for now!
Palworld is the new action-adventure survival game by Pocket Pair. The game is based on Pokemon-like creatures called ‘Pals’. It has been quite a hit since its release. However, some PC players are experiencing issues regarding the default keybinds.
Palworld comes with a preset of keybinds. But naturally, not all of the players will find that comfortable. Therefore, they tend to remap some buttons according to their ease. Unfortunately, as of this writing, changing some specific keys is impossible. However, there might be a workaround.

Can You Remap Keybinds in Palworld?
If you are wondering whether you can remap the preset key binds in Palworld or not- the answer is not that easy. While you might be able to change most of the keybinds, you may fail with some.
For example, the default key bind for Partner Skill is F. This is fixed by the game. You can not remap this bind according to your choice.
In its current state, you can’t remap the keybindings to many of the non-used keys in Palworld. For example, you can not remap keys to tab, caps lock, or any secondary mouse button. Upon trying so, it will show you the “key cannot be used” – message.

Is There Any Workaround?
You may try to use the macro settings on your mouse or keyboard if available. You can assign the specific key, for example ”F,” to the key to your liking and use it for a while. However, this is by no means any permanent solution. We hope the developers will fix the issue in the future.
