Lethal Company supports up to 4 people co-op, but you can play with a much bigger lobby using mods. Here is how to play Lethal Company with more than 4 people.

Lethal Company is a game where you go to different planets to collect scraps and take them back to your spaceship. All the planets have life-form in them. Some of the life forms can be deadly, while others have different behaviours. The gameplay feels a lot like Phasmophobia if, instead of identifying ghosts, you were a delivery man collecting scraps.

Lethal Company is a good game to play with people. And the more people there are, the more chaotic the matches will be. Unfortunately, the game only supports up to 4 players. This is why you will need to use a mod to extend the lobby. With the mod, you can play up to 20 players in a single lobby. Here is how to do it.

Playing Lethal Company with More than 4 People

There are two mods that can enable the players to play with more than 4 people. These are called BiggerLobby and MoreCompany. Both of the mods are available on Thunderstore’s website. But to install them, we will have to install the framework first.

Installing Frame Work for the Mod

No matter which mod you decide to go with, you will need to complete this step to set up the framework for it. Here is how to set the framework for the mods:

1. Go to the Thunderstore website to download BepInExPack.
2. Choose the manual download method.
3. After downloading, extract the contents of the file in this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Lethal Company.

The directory will change if you have not installed installed the game in the local C drive. In that case, extract the files to where you have installed the game.

Installing MoreCompany Mod

Once you are done with the framework part, installing this mod is fairly easy. Follow these steps to do it:

1. Go to the Thunderstore website and download the MoreCompany mod manually.
2. After completing the download, extract the contents of the zip to this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Lethal Company.
3. If a prompt comes up, choose the replace file option.

And you are done. Now, you should be able to play the game with up to 32 players in a single lobby as long as all the players have this mod installed.

Installing BiggerLobby Mod

BiggerLobby needs a bit of additional framework installation. But nothing that is too complicated. Follow these steps to set up BiggerLobby Mod:

1. From the Thunderstore website, manually download the LC API.
2. Extract the LC API in this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Lethal Company.
3. Now download the BiggerLobby from the Mod page.
4. Extract the BiggerLobby files in this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Lethal Company.
5. If a prompt comes up, choose the replace file option.

With this, you have installed the BiggerLobby Mod. You can play up to 20 players with this mod as long as everyone has this mod installed.
