Here’s everything you need to know if you want to unlock the Chain Assassination Skill in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is Ubisoft’s 13th mainline entry to its massively popular franchise, Assassin’s Creed. Experience the journey of a cunning street thief, Basim, who transforms from a defiant young man to a refined master assassin.

Through your journey in the city of 9th-century Baghdad, you’ll meet an inspiring cast of characters who will shape Basim’s destiny in one way or another.

Additionally, this entry steers the gameplay mechanics back to the original ways. This means a heavy emphasis is put on parkour and stealth just like before.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage has a comparatively small skill tree. But that is not to say that the skills that you can unlock are not impactful. In fact, each skill you unlock will significantly boost up Basim and what he can do.

However, this guide is for those who want to know about the Chain Assassination Skill. So, let’s dive right into it!

What Does the Chain Assassination Skill Do

The Chain Assassination Skill allows you to take down multiple foes at a time. Meaning that with skill unlocked, you can perform a second assassination near the first.

However, if the second enemy is a little far away, Basim will throw a Throwing Knife (If available). The skill is pretty handy when you’re afraid of raising an alert status when one enemy witnesses you killing another.

In order to unlock Basim’s Chain Assassination Skill, you need to invest skill points into the Phantom Skill tree. The skill is the third unlockable ability in this tree. But as with any skill tree, you must unlock the preceding skills in order to unlock the skill you want.

In total, you need to spend at least six skill points in the Phantom Skill tree. 1 skill point for the first tier skill, which is the Kick Back, and then the Breakfall skill for 2 skill points, and then finally the Chain Assassination Skill for 3 skill points.

To use this skill, you need to take down your target while another enemy is nearby. Doing so will give you access to the Assassinate option, which you can immediately select to take down the second foe. If an enemy is a little far away, you can opt to throw a Throwing Knife instead.
