Being aware and listening to footsteps and your surroundings is as important as communicating with your teammates. There have been many situations where you couldn’t clutch a round just because your teammates had noisy broken mics or they were just being annoying.

How To Turn On Clutch Mute
In the 4.11 patch, VALORANT has added a very important in-game feature called Clutch Mute, which will allow you to mute your teammates immediately when you feel it necessary.
Here is a step by step guide on how you can turn on Clutch Mute from the settings:
- Go to Settings (Esc) > Controls > Communication
- Set keybinds for Party and Team Voice Clutch Mute Keys
- Press the keybind while in-game to Toggle “ON” the Party and/or Team Voice Clutch Mute and then again to Toggle “OFF”
- When “ON,” you can toggle the mute any time during your match when you hit the assigned keybind. An icon will appear so you know when it’s enabled.
