The Wool and Cloth are two items required at a very early game stage. Wool serves as a crafting material for clothes. These clothes are essential for creating the necessary armor to survive the cold brought by nightfall. Today’s guide will look at how to get wool and cloth in Palworld.

How to Get Wool

You can get wool from Pals like Lamball, Cremis or Melpaca. The Lamball is one of the first Pals you will encounter near your spawn point. Thus, obtaining the wools won’t pose a challenge.

As you progress a few levels, you can also build a Ranch to place Pals that can produce wool. The Ranch is unlocked at Technology Level 5, and you will need x50 Wood, x20 Stone, and x30 Fiber to craft a ranch. Once you have crafted a ranch, deploy any wool-producing Pals in your base, and they will stay in the ranch, providing you with a good supply of wool.

Wool is primarily used to craft clothes, which plays a very important role in your survival in the world of Palworld.

How to Get Cloth

After you have gathered some wool, you can craft Clothes for your armor. The Cloth is unlocked at technology level 3, and you will need x2 Wool to craft one piece. The cloth needs to be crafted from the Primitive Workbench, and if you want a Pal to help you with the task, deploy a Pal with the Handiwork ability in your base.

The Cloth is used to make armor, which will help you stay warm at night and also protect you from Pal attacks. It is also needed to craft the Glider, which is essential if traveling through mountain regions. These are only some early uses of clothes; there will be plenty of other uses as you progress in the game.
