Fortnite brought back its refer a friend and this time you can earn the Rainbow Racer skin for free.
Fortnite’s Refer a Friend system was first introduced a while back. Back then it was called Reboot a Friend and players could earn free rewards for bringing friends back to Fortnite. The Fortnite wiki page describes Reboot a Friend as-
“The Reboot A Friend Program is an event in Fortnite: Battle Royale which allows players to bring back friends who haven’t played in 30 or more Days. They can earn points by playing matches to gain Cosmetic Rewards.”
Fortnite has once again brought back a new Refer a Friend program and this time it has the Free Rainbow Racer skin as the final reward. Below you will find everything you need to know about the new Refer a Friend and how to get the Rainbow Racer skin for free in Fortnite.

Fortnite Refer a Friend:
How it Works:
- Add up to 5 friends from Fortnite on the Refer a Friend program website who have played less than 120 minutes of a core Fortnite Battle Royale game mode (i.e., Solo, Duos, Trios, or Squads) in the last 30 days (includes new players). See Fortnite Refer a Friend Program Terms of Participation (available at link) for full eligibility terms and requirements.
- Complete in-game tasks together with your referee(s) and earn rewards.
- Note: You can complete the same task multiple times with different friends. However, rewards can only be earned once.

Important Dates:
The signup for the Refer a Friend program will end on November 14, 2021, at 11:59 PM ET. So you have until then to login into the Refer a Friend Website and add a friend to the program. After November 14th no new players can register for the Refer a Program.
But after completing the registration players have until January 10, 2022, at 11:59 PM ET to complete all the challenge levels and unlock the rewards.

The Refer a Friend program went live just recently so you have about 20 days to pick a friend who meets the requirements and about 77 days to complete all of the challenge stages.
