To get Soul Shards in V Rising, you will need an item called The Eye of Twilight. This item is used to track down the Soul Shards. A high-level boss generally guards the Soul Shards. Upon killing the boss, you can get the shard.
You will need Spectral Dust and Gold Ingots to make an Eye of Twilight. You can make Gold Ingots in the furnace. As for the spectral dust, you can find it by killing banshees in the Cursed Forest.
After placing down the Eye of Twilight, you can interact with it. Interacting with the item will reveal the area of the Soul Shard. Now all you have to do is kill the boss and claim the soul shard for yourself.
