Have you ever regretted a purchase in VALORANT? Don’t worry. There is a way to get a refund, given you follow some rules.

VALORANT is a free-to-play competitive first-person shooter game. Including distinctive hero abilities in a tactical shooter format makes the game unique in its genre. Besides adding agents, Riot has also introduced in-game items like colorful skins, gun buddies, battle passes, and player cards. Although the game is free to play, these items are not.

You can buy in-game items with VALORANT Points or VP in short. However, VPs are bought with real-life currency. Nevertheless, it often happens that players have accidentally purchased an in-game item or might not like the skins and want their money back. For such instances, Riot offers a refund option. However, not every item is refundable.

If you want a refund, there are some rules to follow. This guide will help you with the details of getting a successful refund on your in-game purchase in VALORANT.

What Items are Allowed for Refund?

Only the unused items that were purchased in 14 days are eligible for refunds. These items include:

  1. Valorant Points (VP)
  2. Weapon Skins
  3. Player cards or Gun Buddies purchased with VP

Note that these items must not be used in any game modes, not even in custom game modes or in the practice range. Moreover, skins have to be in their default variants to be allowed to get a refund.

What Items are Not Allowed for Refund?

According to the VALORANT Refund Policy by Riot, the following items do not qualify for a refund:

  1. Used Weapon Skins
  2. Upgraded Weapon Skins
  3. Weapon Skin Levels and Variants
  4. Weapon Skin Bundles
  5. Used Accessories (Gun Buddies, Player Cards, etc.)
  6. Agents
  7. Premium Battle Passes
  8. Premium Battle Pass Levels
  9. Radianite Points
  10. Any purchase made with Kingdom Credits (Agent Gear, Accessories Store)

Note that if you happen to buy items of a bundle individually and hence complete the bundle, that will also be considered a full bundle and won’t qualify for a refund.
