Collecting Merchant Tokens isn’t as hard as you think!
Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes you back to the age of the Abbasid caliphate. There you fight as Basim, a street thief turned hidden one who seeks to bring down the Templar order in Baghdad. To carry out missions smoothly in Mirage, you will need a constant supply of dirhams to buy gear, weapons, and equipment. Besides Dirhams, you will also need merchant tokens, or, as referred to in the game, “Khidmah Tokens.”
In exchange for merchant tokens, NPCs will help you in various ways, leading to the game’s smooth progression. You can buy gear for lower prices, get assistance in your missions, get useful information, and more by trading merchant tokens with individuals from different factions. While tokens can be gained by completing missions, the amount may not suffice for the demands in the later parts of the game. How To Get More Merchant Tokens in AC Mirage
There are three types of merchant tokens available in the game. Each has its separate uses and helps with distinct tasks. Available Merchant tokens in the game-
- Merchant tokens
- Scholar tokens
- Power tokens
You will need every one of them to execute your missions smoothly. You can get your hands on these tokens by completing contract missions from the notice boards.
But the best way to acquire Merchant tokens involves Pickpocketing. You’ll need to pickpocket purses/pouches from passersby in the streets. These pouches come in two colors, one Silver and another Gold. The gold-colored ones have more valuable items and thus contain more tokens. To pickpocket these pouches more effectively and smoothly, you should learn the Pickpocket Master Skill.
Use Eagle Vision to spot NPCs with the colored pouches and go by them to nab them. You can also turn on Guaranteed Pickpocketing by going to the Gameplay Settings, which helps you easily pickpocket without any disruptions.
