In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Zelda has a new golden horse that we can track down and ride. Here we will show you how you can do that in the game.
Horses are a big part of the new Zelda series. Normally you have a stamina bar that you can easily deplete by running. But by using a horse, you can move faster and more freely without worrying about the stamina bar for your character. And depending on the horse, you can even boost to speed up several times.
Breath of the Wild had a horse mounting system in the game. And Tears of the Kingdom also has it for a good reason. On top of that, Tears of the Kingdom added a new Pony Point system for interacting with the stables. So taking care of horses has been even better than before.
That being said, the golden horse is the horse that Princess Zelda used in this game. You can track it down and register it with the stable. That way, you will be able to ride this horse. Here is how to find this golden horse in the game.

Golden Horse Location in Tears of the Kingdom
The golden horse in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is located in the North Tabantha Snowfield, as shown on the map. But before you go grab the horse, you should unlock the snowfield stable and the nearby shrine. There is a Gleeok close by; that way, if you annoy the Gleeok, you can reset and try again.
The horse, being golden, is easily visible from a distance. It should roam around the field along with the other horses. Sneak up to it and mount the horse. Then try to calm it down by pressing ZL over and over. Once tamed, bring it back to the stable and register it so that you can call the horse whenever you want.
Taming The Golden Horse
You need a few things before you try to tame the golden horse. First, since it is on a snowy field, you need either a cold resistance dish or the cold resistance armor set. If you don’t have these, you will die of cold before you can bring back the horse.
Another necessary thing is 1.5 Wheel of Stamina. Taming the Golden Horse is no easy feat. The more stamina you have, the better. But anything lower than 1.5 wheels will not be able to tame the horse. Of course, you can use a stamina-recovering dish to boost your stamina even if you don’t have the required amount.
