Here’s how much time you’ll need for a playthrough of Hellboy: Web of Wyrd.

Hellboy: Web of Wyrd is an action roguelite based on Mike Mignola’s cult classic comics. It features beat-em-up brawling action with an art style that brings the pages of the comics to life. You control Hellboy, who is investigating some strange occurrences that he soon discovers are connected to an ancient evil.

Your quest takes you to the Wyrd. A world of chaos and home to some of the most dangerous creatures in the world. It is divided into a number of levels, and each level is procedurally generated, which means the levels and its traps, enemies, and puzzles are different each time you play. Additionally, each level has a challenging boss fight at the end of it.

Furthermore, due to the rougelite nature of the game, each time you die, you will have to start all over again from the first level. However, you’ll be able to keep your unlocked rewards and abilities, so each attempt contributes to your progress and makes the next attempt easier.

Hellboy: Web of Wyrd Total Duration

Depending on your skill level and your experience with roguelites, it will take somewhere around 10 hours for you to complete the three chapters of the game.

In the first chapter, you’ll go through the four biomes of the game. The second chapter will have you replay these biomes again, but they will be more difficult this time around. The third and final chapter will have you go through all four biomes in a single consecutive run. However, bosses will only appear right at the end.

After completing the final chapter and beating the game, you’ll be able to go through the Wyrd again, either taking on all four biomes individually or in a single run. This will allow you to get any collectibles you might have missed, complete the achievements, and fully upgrade Hellboy.

Due to its rougelite nature, the collectibles drop randomly, and it might take you a few or a lot of runs to get them all. To earn all the achievements, you’ll have to beat the modified versions of the biome, which are more difficult than their regular version. As you can get the different currencies quite easily, it will not take you a long time to fully upgrade Hellboy.

All in all, it should take you around 20-25 hours to 100% the game, depending on your skill level and your luck with collectibles.
