Is the Chamber of Secrets Available in Hogwarts Legacy
The Chamber of Secrets is a location that is not accessible in Hogwarts Legacy. That is mainly because it will mess with the original lore of the movie if it is added to this game. Hogwarts Legacy takes place long before the events of the movie. By this time, the chamber of secret should be present, and it already has the basilisk in it.
However, if we can discover the chamber of secret and kill the basilisk in this game, this will mean the events of the movie do not happen. This, in turn, will mess with this world’s whole lore. So the devs made a conscious choice of it not being accessible in the game. However, there is still a reference to this chamber of secrets in the game.
