Ubisoft has brought back Rainbow Six Siege’s first Arcade game mode, “Golden Gun”, just for this weekend.

For this iteration, the Arcade mode will be titled as “Golden Gun 3.0”, and it is currently live for Siege players across all platforms.

How does it Work?

The Golden Gun mode still uses the 5v5 format, where you will play 3-minute secure-area rounds. However, players will only get a single weapon- the Golden Deagle– to deal with your enemy with only one shot. With a single shot, the enemy will die, but if you miss, you have to reload your weapon again, as the Deagle can only house a single bullet in its chamber.

The ‘Golden Gun 3.0’ mode will take place in three new maps: Chalet, Kanal and Skyscraper. Players will still be able to use all the operator’s abilities, gadgets, and will also have access to melee attacks.

Just like ‘Golden Gun 2.0‘, Mira, Goyo, or any other operator with deployable shields won’t be available to prevent players from blocking bullets with the shield in their hands. In contrast, Amaru will be removed from the operator pool to give defenders some time when the rounds start.

This golden weapon skin, called Extravagance, is returning to the store, which can be purchased with either 12500 Renown or 360 R6 Credits. However, you’ll need to swipe it fast because it will only be available for the duration of the Arcade game mode!

The “Golden Gun 3.0” limited-time mode starts today and will last for 4 days, ending on Monday, April 26th. The big seasonal event for Crimson Heist is yet to be released, so stay tuned for the latest updates.
