Ubisoft has once again decided to bring back Rainbow Six Siege’s “Golden Gun” Arcade game mode for a limited time.
Golden Gun was the first event added to Rainbow Six Siege’s Arcade Playlist, which is a playlist that offers small-scale gameplay modifiers for a limited time. As the community is quite fond of this game mode, the event is being added to the game for the fourth time.
‘Golden Gun’ LTM
How does it Work?
The Golden Gun mode still uses the 5v5 format, where you will play 3-minute secure-area rounds. However, players will only get a single weapon- the Golden Deagle– to deal with your enemy with only one shot. With a single shot, the enemy will die, but if you miss, you have to reload your weapon again, as the Deagle can only house a single bullet in its chamber.
The ‘Golden Gun 4.0’ mode will take place in three new maps: Bank, Clubhouse, and Coastline. Players will still be able to use all the operator’s abilities, gadgets, and will also have access to melee attacks.
Just like the previous iteration, Mira, Goyo, or any other operator with deployable shields won’t be available to prevent players from blocking bullets with the shield in their hands. In contrast, Amaru will be removed from the operator pool to give defenders some time when the rounds start.
D-50 WEAPON SKIN
This golden weapon skin, called Extravagance, is returning to the store, which can be purchased with either 12500 Renown or 360 R6 Credits. However, you’ll need to swipe it fast because it will only be available for the duration of the Arcade game mode!
The “Golden Gun 4.0” limited-time mode starts today and will last for 4 days, ending on November 16th.
