The Ragnarok is at the door. Kratos and Atreus are doing their best to prepare for it and also finding any possible way to prevent this from happening. However, they need answers, and the answers are spread throughout the Nine realms.
They are bound to travel from one realm to another to find those answers. And that is where the Mystic Gates come. The Mystic Gate is rooted in the Yggdrasil tree that is said to be connected with all the realms. However, a little “bug” prevents the players from accessing the other realms. Fix Realm Travel Not Working in God of War Ragnarok
The bug is that some players have reported not getting access to the exit gate when they enter the Yggdrasil tree by the Mystic gate. Means they are stuck in the Yggdrasil tree. And even after spending a pretty good amount of time, the door doesn’t spawn. And yes, loading from the last checkpoint didn’t even seem to do any good as well.
As this is not an official bug or something, there is a couple of power moves up on my sleeve to try out. Let’s check this out:
Check your console notification
This seems pretty straightforward, but this is it. You may see a download application in the background. As this is not set to Auto mode, you have to check it manually to see if another part of the game needs to download.
Now, all you have to do is, download the file and open up the game once the download is finished, and you are ready to go. Fact is, this is the most general solution. On top of that, that door should spawn by now.
Reinstall
Multiple reports are showing that there were no download options in the background. For such cases, uninstall the game and then reinstall it. You might or might not notice that an additional file is downloading. However, you should be good to go upon completing the whole package.
