Mihoyo premiered the Genshin Impact v2.7 Livestream, announced new characters and events, and gave out free Primogem codes.
Finally, the wait for Genshin Impact v2.7 is over, and miHoYo showed the audience in the version 2.7 Livestream program what the new update will bring to the players. One of the most highly anticipated characters, Yelan will be making an appearance for the first time, with Xiao and Arataki Itto having rerun banners.
For Phase 1, Yelan and Xiao will be the first two featured character banners after the v2.7 update goes live, followed by the Arataki Itto banner, which will feature Kuki Shinobu, the newest 4-star character in Phase 2. There will also be some new quests and events which will give primogem and other rewards to players worldwide.
One thing that attracts a lot of players to these Livestreams is the free Promgem codes. Before every update, Mihoyo hosts these Livestreams and reveals 300 Free Primogem codes for the viewers.

A new Archon story quest, ‘Interlude Chapter,’ will move the main story forward with the Traveler twins and what mysterious activities are happening inside The Chasm.
The Almighty Arataki Great and Glorious Drumalong Festival is a music event that will have many rewards and the glorious drum.

A Muddy Bizarre Adventure, a new event in the Underground Mines of the Chasm, will also be available to the players.
Perilous Trail is a domain fighting event that will reward a 4-star bow Fading Twilight to players.
The scheduled date for version 2.7, Hidden Dreams in the Depths, is May 31, 2022.
