Genshin Impact’s version 2.7 update released date has been announced. Here’s what we know so far.
Chinese game developer miHoYo announced today that Genshin Impact 2.7 update is expected to release on May 31, 2022. After postponing the version 2.7 release date because of the lockdown situation in Shanghai, miHoYo announced the release time of the version 2.7 update on their socials.
Genshin Impact version 2.7 will feature the new 5-star Hydro character Yelan, some new events, and possibly the rerun of Xiao and Arataki Itto.

Version 2.7 update maintenance is expected to start on May 31, 2022, at 06:00 (UTC+8) and is expected to be completed within 5 hours. Meanwhile, the duration of Version 2.7 will be 6 weeks, and Version 2.8 is scheduled to be updated on 07/13/2022.
The current Character Event Wish, Weapon Event Wish, and “Test Run” event will end on 05/31/2022 at 05:59 (UTC+8). The countdown time display on the Wish screen and Events Overview page will also be adjusted. There are no changes to the end times of other in-game events.
Maintenance for the Placement Function in the Serenitea Pot will also end after the Version 2.7 update maintenance is complete. Travelers can then resume using this Placement Function.
