Yae Miko, also known as Guuji Yae, is an upcoming 5* character in Genshin Impact. Here is a build guide for her.
Yae is the shrine maiden of the Grand Narukami Shrine, and the owner of Yae Publishing House. She is an old friend of the Geo Archon Morax and Electro Archon Baal, and is also acquainted with Ganyu.
Wielding a catalyst and the power of Electro, Yae Miko can deal off-field damage and high burst damage when she is on-field. Her Elemental Skill allows her to move and leave behind a Sesshou Sakura, which deals constant electro damage to nearby enemies.
Miko’s Elemental Burst unseals all nearby Sesshou Sakura destroying their outer forms and transforming them into Tenko Keshin that descend from the skies. With her Passive Talent, each Sesshou Sakura destroyed by her Elemental Burst resets the cooldown of her Elemental Skill. Besides, you can see her glowing foxtails when she casts her Elemental Burst.
The Genshin Impact v2.5 update officially launched the Yae Miko character banner. Along with her limited-time Character Banner, her signature weapon Kagura’s Verity will be available in the weapon banner, with Primordial Jade Cutter being the second 5-star weapon featured.
Below is a simple guide for the newest Genshin Impact character Yae Miko.
Best Yae Miko Builds:
Best Artifacts:
This Yae Miko guide will provide the best artifact build sets for Yae Miko in the game.
Main DPS/Sub DPS:
Yae Miko will follow the standard Main DPS build, which will focus on ATK% or Elemental Mastery, Electro Damage Bonus%, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage as required.
Currently, there is no 4-piece artifact set that will suit her perfectly, but it is best to use 2-piece artifact sets with 4-piece EOSF being the only exception.
For Yae Miko, we recommend using either of these artifact sets:
- 2pc Gladiator’s Finale & 2pc Shimenawa’s Reminiscence
- 2pc Thundering Fury & 2pc Noblesse Oblige
- 2pc Glad/Shime & 2pc Noblesse Oblige
- 2pc Glad/Shime & 2pc Thundering Fury
- 4pc Emblem of Severed Fate
- 4pc Shimenawa’s Reminiscence
- 4pc Thundersoother
Yae Miko is tricky to build mainly because of ER% issues and her optimal team comp. Yae has high base stats. So, her overall ATK% should be high, but you should still try to get some from artifact substats. Yae Miko’s Elemental Burst has a really high energy cost. Her energy regeneration from her Elemental Skill is not that great.
We suggest using someone like Raiden Shogun or Fischl as her support in her team comp. Her best in slot weapon doesn’t have Energy Recharge as a sub-stat. Therefore, all the ER% has to be acquired from artifacts substat.
Best Weapons for Yae Miko:
Yae Miko is a catalyst user, and her signature weapon, ‘Kagura’s Verity’, is her best in slot weapon. That being said, players can choose other weapons for her as well.
‘Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds’ and ‘Skyward Atlas’ are great 5-star weapons for Miko. Among the 4-star catalysts, ‘Widsith’ is easily the best weapon for her. At R5 refinement with the correct buff, it can even out damage Kagura’s Verity. ‘Solar Pearl’ is a solid option if players do not have any other weapon for Yae Miko.
Weapon Ranking:
- Kagura’s Verity
- Widsith R5
- Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds
- Skyward Atlas
- Solar Pearl
Best Team Comp:
- Yae Miko, Bennett, Kazuha, Raiden Shogun
- Yae Miko, Kujou Sara, Bennett, Kazuha
- Yae Miko, Xingqiu, Bennett, Raiden Shogun
