Genshin Impact will issue compensation to the playerbase every week because of the recent delay to v2.7.
Genshin Impact’s v2.7 update was supposed to arrive in about a week. But, due to the recent lockdown situation in Shanghai, it was delayed. We also did not witness the Genshin Impact v2.7 special program live stream because it was also delayed.
The Official Genshin Impact Twitter account previously announced that the v2.7 update and Livestream were postponed. The Post also told us to stay tuned for any further details about the new update, content adjustments plan, and compensation.

Genshin Impact 2.7 Delay Compensation Details
We recently got confirmation that there will indeed be compensation because of the update delay. The Genshin Impact Official Twitter account posted about the compensation details. Below you will find everything about it.
In the Tweet, HoYoverse explained that compensation would go out to players every week until the v2.7 update arrives.
Compensation
Every week we will get the following as compensation for the delay of the Genshin Impact v2.7 update:
- Primogem x400
- Fragile Resin x1
- Hero’s Wit x7
- Mystic Enhancement Ore x16
- Mora x 120,000
In case the v2.7 update arrives halfway through a week, the compensation for that particular week will be adjusted accordingly.
Compensation Start Time
Starting from 11th May 2022, players will receive compensation rewards every Wednesday at 4:00 AM (server reset time). Each mail will be available for 30 days before expiring.
Eligibility
Travelers who have reached Adventure Rank 5 or above before 11th May 2022 at 4:00 AM(server reset time) will be eligible for the compensation.
The compensation will reach players via the in-game mail and expire when v2.7 arrives. So, players are urged to claim the rewards before v2.7 update drops.
