Skirk Gameplay Leaks: Overall Kit
Skirk will be a 5-star Cryo sword user. She is going to be an on-field, selfish DPS, meaning she needs to be on the field all the time and supports that do off-field damage. Skirk is a normal attack-focused character. She comes with a burst that offers nuking capabilities.
Elemental Skill: Skirk’s elemental skill will grant her a special energy bar. While the name of the skill is still undetermined, it is referred to as the Seven Sword Stance. As the name suggests, this will allow Skirk to obtain a new combat stance. This also significantly increases his Normal Attack damage.
Elemental Burst: Her ‘Q’ will allow Skirk to unleash all of her gathered energy all at once to a fast paced AoE attack much similar to Keqing’s burst. In her elemental burst she will consume all energy from her elemental skill. The multipliers aren’t confirmed yet but the nuking potential is extremely high.
After using her burst, whenever any of your teammates hit enemies, Dimensional Spheres will drop (max 3), Skirk can collect them to recharge her special energy bar while doing charged attacks.
Passives: Her A4 passive suggests that she requires Cryo and Hydro teammates on her party, as the number of Cryo and Hydro teammates will increase her damage up to 70%. If she doesn’t have enough Cryo or Hydro teammates, her damage can fall off by over 30%.
Constellations: Her early constellations don’t seem that exciting. C1 provides AoE damage to her charged attacks while C2 increases the cap on the special energy. So, if you were planning some vertical investment,t then that seems unnecessary, unless you go C6.
Best Teams Based on Skirk Gameplay Leaks

So, according to the leaks, Skirk’s potential Best Team would be the following:
- Skirk
- Furina
- Escoffier
- Yelan/Shenhe
Freeze gameplay seems to be back in the Meta if this lineup is true.
Final Thoughts
Skirk is definitely an interesting character and requires a different approach, especially with the Hydro and Cryo requirements. If you want her to in her maximum potential, then investing in Escoffier, who is coming in Genshin Impact 5.6, is going to be the best choice.
Keep in mind that there will be more Skirk gameplay leaks once 5.6 goes live and 5.7 beta starts. I will be updating when that happens.
