While the initial beta test leaks aren’t out yet, we have new leaks for the upcoming character in Genshin Impact, and it’s mindblowing.
It seems like Genshin Impact is closing up on the Natlan chapter as we are finally getting new characters from other regions of the game. Genshin Impact 5.5 is only a few days away, but leaks for 5.6 is already surfing across the community.
The latest character to join the roster is Akkefi (name still not confirmed officially). She is the chef girl teased in the upcoming characters tease image back in 5.4 livestream. If the leakers are correct that she seems to be the perfect companion for Skirk and frozen team comps.
Now do keep in mind that all of these info aren’t official from Hoyoverse. Therefore, take everything with a grain of salt.
Akkefi Kit Genshin Impact 5.6

According to the leaks, Akkefi will be a 5 star Cryo polearm character. Her primary role in the game seems to be of a healer. The elemental skill provides off field coordinated attacks similar to Furina. This is a single target damage with Cryo being applied in every 2.5 seconds.
Her burst provides instant team healings and the provides single target healing to the active character in your party. The healing is scaled of ATK.
But it is her passive that makes her the perfect choice for Skirk and frozen team comps. If she is in a team with only Hydro and Cryo characters then she will reduce opponents Cryo and Hydro resistance by 45%.
What’s more her C1 actually improves this passive as you can introduce another off element character in the party and still get the full debuff. More details regarding this will be available once the beta tests start.
Why is She Perfect for Skirk
We already know Skirk is going to be a Cryo sword user and Akkefi is releasing right before Skirk’s release patch. Hoyoverse usually sets up supports before releasing their most awaited characters so this makes quite sense. And with the new artifact details, her kit synergizes perfectly with Skirk.
