Fortnite v17.21 Update: Downtime Schedule Announced

Epic Games recently announced the downtime schedule for the Fortnite v17.21 update.

Fortnite v17.21 update is right around the corner and has a lot of players hyped up because apparently, Epic is going to add the upcoming Ariana Grande x Fortnite Live Concert Event files in this update. However, these files might be encrypted to prevent anyone from spoiling them for others.

Fortnite data miners were able to determine that the Fortnite v17.21 update is coming this week. Since the start of Fortnite Season 7, we have been getting updates usually on Tuesday so a lot of people speculated that being the case this week as well.

So, seems like that the speculations are spot on as recently Epic Games announced that the Fortnite 17.21 update is going to release today on 27th July. Moreover, they also revealed the downtime schedule for the upcoming Fortnite update.

Fortnite v17.21 Update Schedule:

The FortniteStatus Twitter account recently announced the news of the Fortnite v17.21 update. The tweet also shared information about when the downtime for the update will begin. Usually, the servers are taken down approximately 30 mins before the update.

The tweet reads,

“Take up the power… of science! Fortnite v17.21 is scheduled for release on July 27. In preparation for the update, services will be disabled starting at approx. 03:30 AM ET (07:30 UTC).”

So according to the Tweet, the Fortnite v17.21 update downtime will begin at approximately 03:30 AM ET (07:30 UTC).
