Epic Games released a blog post giving us a lot of details about what to expect in the upcoming Fortnite Season 8. The blog post talks about an Arena “Fill” option coming to Fortnite Competitive in Season 8. This could drastically change how Fortnite players play the Arena mode.

“We can’t point to a date just yet, but our intention is to explore a Fill option for Arena at a later point in Season 8. Once this test goes live we’ll let you know.”

Furthermore Epic also talked about some balancing to the scoring system for Fortnite Arena mode. These changes include making it harder to reach Champions rank. Currently Epic thinks players can reach Champion rank very easily. Epic’s actual wording about this is below-

“We noticed the changes we made to the scoring system last season allowed players to get to Champion League even faster than before. With Champion League as the qualification metric to most of our competitive events, we want the achievement to hold more value. We’ll be making more adjustments this season to make it more challenging to get to Champion League so quickly.”
