Fortnite recently addressed the existence of a visual bug with the Toon Meowscles skin in performance mode of PC, Switch and Android.
Fortnite recently released the Toon Meowscles skin in the item shop. The original Meowscles skin was part of the Chapter 2 Season 2 Battle Pass. Recently Fortnite brought a new 1930 era cartoon style to the skin and gave it a new twist.
The Toon Meowscles skin can be bought separately for 1400 Vbucks or as part of a Bundle. Buying the skin separately for 1400 Vbucks will get you the skin, backbling and the built in emote. Buying the bundle for 1700 Vbucks however will get you the skin, emote, backbling as well as a pickaxe, loading screen and lobby music.

Recently PC, Switch and Android performance mode users have been noticing some visual bugs with the Toon Meowscles skin and Fortnite has decided to address the issues.

Fortnite Addresses Toon Meowscles Visual Bug:
Fortnite Status Twitter account recently made a post about the Toon Meowscles visual bug. In the Tweet Fortnite said,
“We are aware of visual issues with the Toon Meowscles and similar style outfits on Nintendo Switch, Android and PC Performance Mode.
We will update you when we have more information.”
One Twitter user franxren showed us how the visual bug might look like for players experiencing it firsthand. Apparently the Toon Meowscles skin loses it’s black color and looks greyish when under the setting sun in Performance mode. But the head retains it’s original black color and this makes the skin look somewhat weird.

There might be other visual bugs with the Toon Meowscles skin that we might not be aware of. Fortnite will hopefully soon fix the visual bug and Fortnite performance mode players can go back to enjoying the skin soon.
