Epic Games recently announced the Fortnite PlayStation Cup where participants will have a chance to win a share of $113,400 in 2 separate tournaments.
Fortnite has collaborated with PlayStation since day one. PlayStation players periodically get exclusive free skin bundles and other rewards. And now Fortnite is once again hosting Console only tournaments for PS4 and PS5 players.
There will be two Fortnite PlayStation Tournaments for $113,400 in October and $113,400 again in November. The first PlayStation Cup is coming in a few days and below you will find all the details about both tournaments including Schedule, Format, Scoring System, Prize Distribution, and more.

Schedule:
The Fortnite Playstation Cup will be held two times and each one has a total prize pool of $113,400. The first tournament will be on October 2nd in all regions and the second one on November 11. The actual timings of the Fortnite Playstation Cup will be announced in-game under the compete tab.

Format:
The Fortnite PlayStation Cup is a solo event and will have 2 rounds. Round 1 will be approximately 3 hours and players can participate in up to 10 matches during this time. Players will earn points based on the Scoring System detailed below. At the end of round 1, the top 100 point earning players from each Region will advance and be able to queue up for Round 2.
For round 2, players will compete in a single session in their respective regions. Players may participate in a maximum of six matches during each Round 2 session. Each match in round 2 will begin approximately 10 minutes after the session begins. Each Round 2 session will last approximately three hours and a new match will begin every thirty minutes. For players failing to queue up for these matches will be considered to have finished in (or tied for) last place with zero eliminations for that missed match.
At the end of round 2, the top-scoring players as detailed in the Prize Distribution section will be eligible for the prize money.
