A recent Fortnite leak hints that the Zero Point might be coming back to the Fortnite island again.
The Zero Point is a key object in helping progress the storyline of Fortnite Battle Royale. Back in Chapter 1 of Fortnite, it was located under the Loot Lake in a Vault. We had a lot of Fortnite events where Zero Point was involved in significant ways.
Details about the Fortnite Zero Point is still a mystery but we know that it opens bridges to other realities and cycle through different realities. The IO organization uses the Zero Point to maintain the loop on the Fortnite island. In the last season, Aliens tried to steal the Zero Point sealed inside the Spire. And now in Fortnite Season 8, theorycrafters are speculating that the Zero Point is contained inside the Golden Cube.
So it’s possible for Zero Point to play a pivotal role in the upcoming story progression of Fortnite Battle Royale. A recent Fortnite leak hints towards this fact.

According to SentinelCentral, a Fortnite leake, the Zero Point will return to the Fortnite island soon. He found unreleased dialogue on the new upcoming ‘U’ NPC. A quest from this NPC will require Fortnite players to visit the Zero Point.
The Fortnite island was destroyed and Chapter 2 began the last time the Cube and the Zero Point were on the map at the same time. And according to some Fortnite leakers, Season 8 will be the last season of Fortnite Chapter 2.
So, we might see the Zero Point destroying the Fortnite island once again and take us to the Chapter 3 map.
