To start growing crops on your farm:

  • First, find a plot of land in Hateno Village.
  • Talk to Uma once again. No worries, she is really friendly. She will give you great advice and seeds.
  • Next, prepare the soil by using a hoe. Don’t forget to remove the weeds as well.
  • To easily maintain the crops, plant them row-wise.
  • You need to water them on a regular basis.
  • You can also apply fertilizer every few days for faster growth.
  • After a few days, harvest your crops with a sickle.

There are a few important tips to keep in mind. Firstly, choose crops that are suitable for the climate you are in. There are some crops that only thrive in specific regions. Secondly, take drastic measures to protect your crops from pests by using nets or other means. And last but not least, it is crucial to harvest your crops when they are fully ripe to ensure the best flavor. On top of that, remember to store your harvest in a cool and dry place to prevent them from spoiling.
