Item Duplication Glitch - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

You might want to know this quick little trick to duplicate your items in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom brings upon a more diverse story, more aesthetic mechanisms, more places to discover, and on top of that, more scenic beauty to enjoy to the fullest. However, this scenic beauty might not feel very enjoyable once you feel short in your Rupees, items are getting damaged more often, and low on self-esteem.

I’m kidding with the “low self-esteem” thing. However, I might have something to offer you to lessen your worries a bit. Yes, I am talking about a little tricky method that you might find useful. Well, this is more like a glitch, so there is no guarantee for how long there will be this open window in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

So before devs fill up that glitch, let’s learn more about this. Hop in!

Item Duplication Glitch in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

This glitch is basically a duplication glitch for items. Items like Weapons, armor, shields, or even gems can be duplicated in this glitch. However, the methods are really tricky, and the success window is very narrow. But with a couple of roundabouts, you can take full advantage of it. Let’s dive deep into this.

Materials and Zonai Device Duplication Glitch in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

There are some steps to follow very thoroughly. As mentioned before, the window is very narrow. Without further ado, let’s go through the steps:

  • Suit up, equip your melee weapon, and get a shield and a sword. These items can be random; no worries about that. However, you do need to equip all of these as this is a vital and mandatory step.
  • Pull out your bow but don’t arm any arrow yet.
  • Hold Up to bring out the “Material to attach” window. Select any items you want to duplicate from here and then fuse it with the arrow. Choose the item which has more than Two units.
  • Next, head to the Menu and get into the Bows Inventory. From there, Drop the bow you are currently equipped with. This is the bow that you have fused your desired item with.
  • Now, equip any other bow of your choice. Here comes the most crucial part.
  • In this step, you have to double-click the Plus button as fast as possible. It will close and reopen the game Menu. Note that it has to be fast. Otherwise, the method will not work.
  • After you have successfully done with the previous step, you will notice that your desired fused material is now equipped with your current bow. Drop this bow as well.
  • Now, check your storage, and your desired item should be increased. If not, redo the step before the previous one.

With this method, you can duplicate almost any material or Zonai Device. If you select one of the most valuable items to duplicate, you can later sell it to any shop for extra Rupees. This can be a very good source of Rupee farming. However, check here for other ways to farm Rupees fast.

Weapon and Shield Duplication Glitch in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

This one is more-or-less, similar to the last one. However, both of them still work fine.

  • Equip your desired weapon, bow, or shield.
  • Now, head to the game Menu and create a save file manually.
  • After that, head to the Menu and get into the Weapons/ Bow/ Shield Inventory. From there, Drop your item.
  • Now, equip any other item of the same category.
  • Like the previous method, double-click the Plus button as fast as possible. The duplication process will not work if you cannot do it fast enough.
  • Again, drop the current item. After that, go to the save file you created some time ago. Load the file.
  • Now, check your inventory. The item should be duplicated. If not, redo the process.

And that is all I had for the duplication glitch in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
