After his contract with Team Vitality ended yesterday, Fabian announced the birth of an all-new Rainbow Six Siege team called The Delta Project.
The Delta Project, new Siege esports team, will feature two-times world champion Fabian “Fabian” Hällsten, and he will be accompanied by Niklas “KS” Massierer, Fynn “Drvn” Lorenzen, and Marc “Jume” Steinmann.
However, with Jume not being able to formally join Delta Project because of the transfer window, G2 Esports and Siege legend Niclas “Pengu” Mouritzen will be playing as a sub for the first week of the Challenger League qualifiers. But don’t get your hopes of Pengu coming out of retirement for good very high. The fifth member of the roster has not been confirmed yet.
The Delta Project will also bring the former G2 Esports analysts Daniel “Ferral” Rotheram and Jack “Fresh” Thomas Allen, who will be working alongside Tristan “Saethus” Savage as a coaching staff.
Fabian will now be reunited with KS, who have been together in the Pro League title-winning PENTA Sports squads in Seasons 4 and 5. Fresh and Ferral have also been in a team with Fabian under G2 Esports, so the synergy between all these members in Delta Project should be great.
The newly formed team will be playing in this weekend’s Challenger League qualifiers, with Pengu standing in for Jume.
