This skill increases the amount of Meat Buns, i.e., your healing item, you can carry.

This is an important skill to have as battles are long in Dynasty Warriors, and you’ll be fighting and taking damage pretty much throughout the entire duration of it.

Thus, you need as much as healing as you can get, or in this case, carry.

Greater Gratification

  • Boost Health recovery when using a meat bun.
  • Passive

With this skill, you’ll boost your Meat Buns even more. This skill is great for early as well as late game situations.

Health is a key factor in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, and it is very easy to take a few more hits than you would otherwise want. As such, having good healing is important for any build.

Perfect Evade

  • Grants Bravery when evading just as the opponent attacks.
  • Passive
  • 50 skill point cost

Perfect Evade is a key skill to have for any build, as it will significantly improve your Bravery gain, which will allow you to perform Battle Arts more frequently. Battle Arts are a key part of combat, and being able to dish them out more often will greatly increase your effectiveness.

Moreover, it can be an alternative to Parrying, which is much harder to time than a Perfect Evade.

Chain Evasion

  • Enables you to evade repeatedly
  • Passive
  • 30 skill point cost

Chain Evasion is a great combo with Perfect Evade and will help you build up Bravery even faster. Moreover, it also increases your survivability, allowing you to quickly dodge out of danger.

Chain Evasion in conjunction with Perfect Evade allow you to spam the next skill on our list, which will increase your survivability even further.

Whirlwind Kick

  • Unleash a swinging kick with blinding speed. During the approach, you will disappear and be invulnerable to enemy attacks.
  • Battle Art
  • 20 skill point cost

Whirlwind Kick is a battle art that costs one bravery. It rushes you ahead, and you are invulnerable while performing the kick.

While the damage is good to have, its main utility is in closing distances and avoiding attacks. You can use it to jump into battles or to escape sticky situations.

It is especially useful to have if you’re using a slow weapon like a Halberd, or if your weapon lacks range. However, it is a great skill to have regardless of your weapon as it is very versatile.
